Cedric is currently the Founder and Senior Pastor of Joshua’s Temple Missionary Baptist Church,  Founder & CEO of Joshua’s Hand Inc., Community Housing Development Organization. Dr. Walker has occupied seats on various boards in service of his community.  His mission in Southeast Fort Wayne is to build the kind of local church where seekers of God’s purpose for their lives are assured Forgiveness, Love, Acceptance, Affirmation and Safety.  The nonprofit was formed “To assist the community in helping underserved persons replace the destructive habits that lead to poverty and homelessness with positive, supportive and transformative services designed to promote self-leadership, hope and well-being while transitioning into safe, decent and affordable permanent housing”, in short; Rebuilding a Community You’ll Want to Come Home To”. His scripture of purpose is: [Isa 61:4, 7-9 NKJV] 4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations. ... 7 Instead of your shame [you shall have] double [honor], And [instead of] confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs. 8 "For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, And will make with them an everlasting covenant. 9 Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, And their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, That they [are] the posterity [whom] the LORD has blessed." This involves the revitalization of communities located within the 46806, 16, 07 and 15 ZIP Codes by working with the City of Fort Wayne and other partners to encourage, Community Development and Economic Stabilization. His ministry uses Life Development strategies for personal growth in the residents, Creative Housing Strategies for the community that include: Rentals, Lease to Purchase, Restoration, Homeowner Rehabilitation and New Homes using government subsidized and Conventional Mortgage products with small business development and opportunities for potential entrepreneurs to develop their dream.  Joshua’s Hand with it’s for-profit partner BWI are currently developing 28 acres of desolate land into “Posterity Heights” a $42 Million Dollar investment in Southeast Fort Wayne; minority developed, constructed and owned.  Posterity Heights is “A system of integrated partnerships and services formed to produce healthy socio economic conditions that create legacies while building a community worth coming home to”.   Finally His personal life mission is to teach others to “LIVE (Learn, Invest, Value and Expect) so that their reward for living will be a life worth living.  His book Living To Conquer Life’s Challenges…how to defeat the enemies that threaten your purpose” is scheduled for release on Dec 15 2017. Prophet Cedric Walker has survived the consequences of Bad Choices caused by unresolved hurts, habits and hang-ups that led to the loss of 80% of his congregation, Public Rejection, Divorce, Single Parenting, Alcoholism, Betrayal and more. His favorite passages of scripture are Rom 5:1-5 and 2 Pet 1:1-11… His advice to others is; “Don’t forget to love others as Christ has loved you, make room for their mistakes and don’t give up on them because they cause you pain, God’s promises are for everyone. God approves of people that don’t meet your approval, He never gave up on you so don’t you give up on them”….
